From installation-only work to complete design, supply and project management, here are the things customers most often ask us.
01Can you install a kitchen or bathroom I have bought elsewhere?+
Yes. Installation-only projects are always welcome. We can professionally install products you have already purchased, or help with any preparation and supporting trades needed to complete the room properly.
02Do I have to buy everything through Woods & Sons?+
No. You can choose installation only, design and supply, or our complete managed service. We will tailor the quotation around the help you actually need.
03Can you manage all the different trades?+
Yes. We can coordinate removal, plumbing, qualified electrical work, plastering, tiling, flooring, decorating and associated internal building work, giving you one clear point of contact throughout.
04Which areas do you cover?+
We work throughout Thanet, including Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, and also cover Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury, Deal, Dover and surrounding parts of East Kent.
05Do you design as well as install?+
Yes. Our design service covers kitchens, bathrooms, fitted bedrooms and home offices. You can visit our Margate design studio by appointment to compare layouts, finishes and samples.
06Which furniture brands can you supply?+
We work with British manufacturers Crown Imperial and Gaddesby, offer Woodstock Calypso bathroom collections, and can also source German kitchen options when a project calls for them.
07Can you supply worktops, appliances and lighting?+
Yes. We can help with cabinetry, laminate, solid wood, quartz and other worktops, appliances, sinks, taps and carefully planned kitchen or bathroom lighting as part of your project.
08Do you fit wet rooms, en-suites and accessible bathrooms?+
Yes. We undertake bathrooms, en-suites, shower rooms and wet rooms, including the plumbing, electrical work, preparation, tiling, flooring and finishing required.
09Do you offer fitted bedrooms, sliding wardrobes and home offices?+
Yes. We design, supply and install fitted bedroom furniture, sliding wardrobes, dressing areas, desks, cabinetry and practical home-office storage.
10How do quotations and project dates work?+
Every quotation is tailored to the room, chosen products and level of service. Tell us your approximate preferred start date when enquiring and we will discuss current availability before anything is agreed.
11Is your workmanship guaranteed?+
Yes. Woods & Sons is fully insured and our workmanship is covered by a 12-month guarantee, with the exact project scope confirmed in your quotation.
12How do I arrange a design-studio visit?+
